By booking a service with Remap Beast Peterborough, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the provision of our mobile remapping and software services.
IMPORTANT: All software modifications (AdBlue, DPF, EGR Solutions) are provided at the owner's risk and are strictly intended for off-road use, competition, or export only.
1. Mobile Service & Bookings
- The customer must ensure a safe, legal, and flat working area for the technician to access the vehicle.
- If the technician deems the work site unsafe or illegal, a call-out fee will be charged even if work is not performed.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations are subject to a fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.
2. ECU Remapping & Software Warranty
By proceeding with a Remap or software delete, you acknowledge:
- Software Integrity: We provide a lifetime warranty on the custom software installed. If the software is overwritten by a main dealer, we can re-install it for a small admin fee.
- Hardware Responsibility: Tuning increases performance and stress on engine components. We are not liable for the failure of pre-existing hardware (turbos, clutches, dual-mass flywheels, etc.) before or after tuning.
- Legal Compliance: It is the vehicle owner’s sole responsibility to ensure the vehicle remains road-legal under UK laws and MOT requirements.
3. Pre-Existing Faults
We perform a full diagnostic health check before any modification. However:
- We are not responsible for mechanical failures caused by poor maintenance, high mileage, or previous poor-quality repairs.
- Fragile components (plastic clips, aged sensors, or seized bolts) that break during standard procedure due to age or corrosion are the owner's responsibility.
4. Liability & Performance
Performance gains (BHP and Torque) are estimates based on healthy engines. Results may vary slightly depending on the mechanical condition of the individual vehicle. Remap Beast shall not be liable for incidental damages or loss of earnings resulting from any services provided.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work. We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, or Card. The technician reserves the right to retain the vehicle keys until full payment is cleared.
